As you celebrate today, I pray that God grants you greater wisdom, good health, strength and many more years of impactful service.
Happy Birthday, Mr. Speaker.
Happy Birthday, Mr. Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun.
One thing I genuinely admire about you is your courage. You speak your mind, stand by your convictions and are never afraid to take difficult decisions.
But even more remarkable is your willingness to help others succeed.
You freely recommend, support and create opportunities for others. That is a rare quality, and one I deeply respect.
Thank you for your friendship, your leadership and for believing in people.
Instead of trying to bring someone down, why not align with them and go up together?
Not every battle is worth fighting. Sometimes, the wisest decision is to recognise progress, align with it and grow together.
@PempressP Space is luxury, but functionality is true luxury. A room this size could comfortably accommodate a lounge, study, coffee station or kitchenette etc. Good design isn’t just about more space, it’s about making space work.
A rally was planned. A mourning procession took its place.
Yesterday, we walked through the streets of Esa-Oke in honour of the late Ajayi Rogba, in solidarity with his family and our grieving people, and as a peaceful call on our law enforcement agencies to put an end to these
security agencies to conduct a thorough, professional, and impartial investigation. Our people deserve justice, and those responsible must be brought to book.
Who will be next if this continues?
Enough is enough.
One death too many.
Esa-Oke is mourning, and so are we.
No one should lose his life because of political differences.
We mourn with the family of the deceased, we stand with our people, and we demand justice.
Enough is enough.
Justice must be done.
I am deeply touched by this testimonial.
Both the Bible and the Qur’an emphasize justice and paying workers their due:
“The worker deserves his wages” (Luke 10:7)
“Give full measure and weight in justice” (Qur’an 6:152)
We remain committed to fairness and ensuring every worker in Osun receives their rightful entitlements.
This is the time for justice. This is the time for accountability. This is the time to demonstrate that nobody is above the law.
Let peace prevail. Let justice be done.
How many more lives must be lost before decisive action is taken?
The killing of 14-year-old Ezekiel Olapade in Ilobu is heartbreaking, painful and unacceptable. A child is dead. A family is mourning. Another community has been plunged into grief.
Political contests will come and go, but human lives are irreplaceable. No ambition is worth the blood of our people.
My thoughts and prayers are with the parents, family members and loved ones of the deceased as they bear this painful loss.
