❤️🗣️ Gabriel Magalhães on missing the decisive penalty in the Champions League final:
“I felt terrible. I felt like I had let my teammates down. For a moment, I felt worthless.
But what happened afterwards surprised me. The love and support from Arsenal fans was beyond anything I could have imagined.
The staff, my teammates, everyone at the club stood by me. But the fans were incredible. They bought my shirt, shared messages of support, created pictures and videos, and flooded social media with encouragement.
They reminded me that mistakes are part of football and that one moment does not define a person or a season.
I will never forget the love you showed me during one of the hardest moments of my career.
Thank you, Arsenal family. ❤️
Wayne Rooney on other teams congratulating Arsenal on their title:
“Arsenal were crowned Premier League champions and deserved credit for what they achieved this season. But I cannot help feeling that some clubs in England could not find it in themselves to offer a simple word of congratulations.
In football, respect costs nothing. When a team ends a 22-year wait and wins the title with quality and character, the least their rivals can do is acknowledge it. The silence from certain clubs speaks louder than any post ever could.
I am proud of what Mikel Arteta has built. The players showed resilience, belief and the kind of determination that wins leagues. That deserves recognition, not ignorance.
Congratulations to Arsenal on winning the Premier League. But I believe English football loses something when basic respect between clubs disappears.
To the Arsenal supporters: you waited 22 years. Nobody can take that from you. Enjoy every moment of it.”

Arsenal fans got Gabriel Magalhães jerseys printed 350% more after the penalty miss! He was outselling every other Arsenal player by more than 2x. Wow!
This is not just a fanbase.. it’s a family.
This is not just support.. it’s pure love.
Just imagine Gabriel Magalhães seeing all of this!
Everything that happened this season feels like it’s aligning for even greater things next season. I’m feeling very, very positive.
PSG signed so many world class players in a desperate attempt to win the UCL. They couldn't.
In the end, they won it by creating their own world class players out of people who were willing to do the job.
Lost on pens in the Champions League final… hurts like hell. But if there’s one thing Arsenal taught me, it’s that we rise. We rebuild. We come back louder.Keep your memes ready we’ll be back here next year, and we’re not leaving without that trophy. 🔴⚪️North London forever.
The fact that the entire Premier League unites to pray on our downfall just shows how massive Arsenal truly is.
They hate us because they’re terrified of where this team is going.
Proud of the boys for getting to the final. We win together, we lose together.
We will be back.
Been a beautiful season. I have to give kudos to Mikel Arteta and the boys.
We have done tremendously well this season.
There is nothing to be ashamed of at all.
Amazing game of football.
Finest of margins and the luckier team won it.
Off to the World Cup!
Back to Back Champions Leagues… Congrats to PSG! Luis Enrique absolute genius 🏆
Shout out to Arsenal, brilliant season, changed the narrative. Gabriel an absolute rock & no shame when it comes down to penalties! Respect 👊🏽
The mark of a truly elite club is not acting like the world has ended after a final loss.
This is one of the best seasons in the club's history, right up there with the Invincibles and arguably better in some ways. The UCL campaign was historic: we did not lose a single match all season. That makes the final tiebreaker even more heartbreaking. But let's not underestimate what a performance this was.
Arteta and the boys deserve a salute. I have confidence we'll be back next season, inshallah. We are favorites for the league and will be contenders in the UCL too.
An elite club keeps going every season. Some cups will be won, some lost, but they stay in contention until the end. I'm sure we're at that level now, inshallah.
This is a cruel game at the top, but we'll be back. It's not the end of the world after winning the hardest league in Europe and taking the reigning champions to the brink.
This is the start of a new era, a new Arsenal.
