2/2 Over 3 qualy laps ANT, VER & LEC extracted peak short-run performance. Today a higher track temp will influence tyre deg, management &thermal control over race stint. For reference, previous race track temps were cooler-AUS 37° CHN 23° JPN 23°.

The sparks generated add to the spectacle but also give an indication of how low a car is being run. Essentially a telltale.
