That’s it, I’ve had enough! The silly season is in full swing. I’m demoralised enough with #nufc and now we’re selling all our players! Hopefully PIF will come to it’s senses and make any rebuild one to be feared. See you in Aug for a new tilt at the league.
This season has been awful for #nufc.
Poor transfer business, injuries, poor player performance and terrible game management has cost us. I’m hurting. But, to make matters worse, they inflict on us the worst home kit in the history of the game. Oh dear!
Well, that’s it. A disappointing and poor season for #nufc. I hope that we do our transfer business quickly and privately. I suspect a re-build is about to take place.
Am I confident for next season? Sadly no. I think we need a fresh pair of eyes.
If there is one player that #nufc must not contemplate selling this summer it’s Lewis Hall. We should be building a team which very much includes him. I, for one, will be devastated if he goes through the exit door.
Disappointing season for #nufc. So frustrating: 27 points dropped from winning positions. God knows how many goals conceded in the last 10 mins of matches. For me, that’s poor game management. Someone has to be accountable for that.
After last years chaos and ultimate embarrassment I can only hope that #NUFC conduct their transfer business swiftly and quietly. I don’t want to hear about any incoming player until they are posing in the black and white at SJP.
It’s been a disappointing season #NUFC!
Flirting with relegation is not what any fan expected. But it has happened. Now comes a rebuild. It looks like Eddie will oversee it. Am I concerned? Yes. But, ignore the journos and get behind him.
I’m delighted and relieved with 3 pts. But I feel the win simply papered over the cracks #nufc. Clearly there is a problem between some players and management. It has affected our season. I like Eddie but to continue next season, well, is that wise?
I’m afraid a refresh is required #nufc. We are stale and a new set of eyes overlooking the squad is a must! It’s just not working anymore. PIF need to be ruthless or next season will be much the same. I’m very sad!!!!
It’s difficult to swallow but past performance is an excellent indicator of future results. Those who expect #NUFC to finish the season strongly are real optimists. God bless, you lovely, beautiful people.
I must confess, I’m struggling to understand why any player, let alone a
#nufc player, would go to Citeh at this point in time. Rumours of a 60 point sentence from the premier league plus Pep leaving is pure uncertainty!
I think we have to accept that there will be a re-build at #nufc this summer. I expect to lose two or three players but for good money. It will be sad but we have to trust the DoF and his staff to deliver quality replacements.
I see that the ‘silly season’ has started early for #NUFC. Whilst there will be clubs, chancing their arm, to secure our players. And, I do expect one or two to depart. I fully expect PIF and the club hierarchy, to both stand firm and sensibly recruit.
What a goal by Osula for #nufc. The transition from defence to attack was swift and direct. Something we haven’t seen much of this season where transition has been slow and ponderous.
Much more direct play please lads.
That cup draw was so damn predictable! But, if we are going to win the Cup we would have to play them at some stage. So, I’m glad #nufc are playing them at St James’.
The intense press, the energy and aggression that was #nufc is missing! Our movement is pedestrian and we have no cutting edge. Our transfer business has been poor and needs reviewing before more money is wasted.
I’m frustrated! Where is the intensity of #nufc of the last three seasons? We look positively pedestrian trying to ‘walk the ball into the net’. We need a midfielder who can open up defences and a switched on striker who can make runs.
Over years I have watched, with great excitement, #nufc signing the next ‘bright young player’ to their squad. However, I am dismayed at the lack of youngsters who ‘make it.’ Some, train with the 1st team and may ‘make the bench’. Then it’s off the a League 2 side.
What is wrong?
What a superb problem for Eddie to encounter#nufc. Lewis Miley is a good midfielder but his performances as a right full back have been outstanding. Have a quiet word with him Eddie.
