@googlefi@googlefi@Google As an update, the Google Fi Twitter account ghosted me after I provided requested Case ID numbers. Meanwhile, I continue to receive no reply from "customer support" escalation. This is about the worst customer service experience I've ever had.
@googlefi Why is your customer "support" ignoring me and lying about when I will receive a response? I was told I'd hear back in 24 hrs, and 36 hrs later - nothing. I was told I would get a call back from a supervisor - nothing. Do you support customers or not?
@jessica_smetana Bottom line - as a USC fan, this rivalry is one of the things that set us apart. We're potentially on a path to becoming just one of many B1G teams - which doesn't excite me at all.
@PenguinOfTroy My opinion is the B1G and other over-enlarged conferences will eventually collapse in on themselves. When there are so many that you can form a new conference from within, eventually an unhappy group will split off for some reason.
@PenguinOfTroy Unfortunately, this discussion is the continuing trend of college football becoming more of a balance sheet exercise than a communal event. Like many things, financial optimization takes a lot of the joy out of it for me.
@TamaraSrzentic One of the things that comes to my mind - how do you refocus on learning when there is so much emphasis on throughput? Combine this with the insane escalation of college costs (at least in the U.S.) and there seems to be a need for drastic change.
@kaylahaas I agree with your principle - but bad use of PowerPoint runs so deep (in my experience, at least) that I don't begrudge anyone deciding to ban it so their organization can realize it is a supporting tool, not the main attraction.
@PenguinOfTroy Riley brings a system where the cornerstone is a superstar QB, and that doesn't seem to be holding together. 1) Miller has strengths and weaknesses, but the weaknesses were magnified by some terrible OL play, and he is now regressing. 2) This team runs the ball well: USE THAT!
“We will call it roughing the passer.”
“But isn’t football a rough sport sir?”
“Very. But in this case, too high… flag, too low… flag, too late... flag”
“So if they time it perfectly, they can hit in the midsection?”
“Depends. If they do it softly, maybe. Too hard… flag.”
@PenguinOfTroy Personally, don't understand why this would be a topic. The best mobile quarterback in the world can't fix a fundamentally bad offensive line. Maiava might do better on a particular play, but is going to make other mistakes, especially being less familiar with the system
