Our Winter Warm Hub has closed for the season. Open from 10th Nov 2025 to 27th Feb 2026, the hub supported our community by:

❄️Serving 295 home cooked meals
❄️Giving away 236 winter woollies - hats, gloves, scarves and socks

Our 131 Club clients recently enjoyed a dance class as part of our 'Free Your Mind' sessions, which run every Friday morning at the club.
These sessions are all about trying something new, and are designed to open the mind to spark creativity and encourage fresh ways of thinking.

Age UK Tameside has launched a new Ear Wax Removal Clinic for people aged 50+ in Tameside. It’s run by a qualified HCPC-registered Audiologist at our Centre in Ashton. We’re offering FREE ear health checks and advice in November & December 2025.

Following the success of last year’s Christmas Coffee Morning fundraiser in support of our annual Winter Warm Hub for older people, we’re delighted to announce that the event will be returning on Saturday 29th November, from 10am to 1pm.

Tuesday 7th October is World Mental Health Day and to mark the occasion there will be a special event at the Hattersley Hub (near Tesco, SK14 6AF) from 9:30am to 1pm.

Our team will be there sharing information about our services for those over 50. We look forward to seeing you!
