Had a great time today at the Chiethu Jhum field, invited by 11 FG Chiechama to witness the rich and diverse harvest from the traditional jhum cultivation at the Chiethu plateau.
It was a truly enriching experience to spend time with the progressive and hardworking farmers in the field. The interaction with them provided valuable insights into their farming practices, challenges, and perspectives. Such engagements are vital as they enable us to better understand the ground realities and help in shaping policies that are responsive to their needs, with the ultimate aim of enhancing agricultural growth and promoting farmers' welfare in the state.
I thank Chiechama villagers for the warm hospitality extended to me and my team of officers today and commend the community for their resilience, dedication, and forward-looking approach towards farming. @MyGovNagaland@CmoNagaland@AgriNgl
