@portlandfarmers Statements in support of justice are nice, but talk is cheap. Please retrain your staff. Armed police are never the right response for someone experiencing a mental health emergency. Especially when that someone is black. Especially when that someone just needs something to eat.

@portlandfarmers At the market last week, I observed staff call the police to deal with a black man who was acting belligerent because he needed food. After 40 minutes of customer intercession (and police non-response), that call was finally cancelled and Clean & Safe were called.
