The discussions with Hon’ble Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture, Mr. Kotaro Nagasaki, highlighted promising opportunities in Green Hydrogen and Power-to-Gas (P2G) technology.
Yamanashi’s experience in developing an integrated hydrogen ecosystem, including renewable-energy-based electrolysis and P2G systems, offers valuable possibilities for Uttar Pradesh as we move towards a cleaner, more energy-secure future.
We look forward to exploring a Green Hydrogen pilot project in Uttar Pradesh, strengthening technology cooperation and building new avenues for investment and sustainable growth.

At the UP–Japan Investment Meet 2026, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath held focused, one-to-one discussions with leading Japanese companies, addressing their investment-related queries, concerns and opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.
The discussions focused on strengthening the skilling ecosystem, supply chains, R&D, innovation and advanced technologies, while exploring new investments and expansion opportunities.
Participating companies included DENSO, Escorts Kubota, L&T Semiconductors, Motherson, Spark Minda, Lohum and other leading Japanese businesses.
