Govt bought for 450/-

200% commission of each item.

Govt bought approx 16.5 lacs bed sheets for Delhi Govt Hospitals with total bed strength of 15.5K beds.

This means for 200 bedded hospital, they bought 20,000 bed sheets. And literally forced head of hospitals to take 20K bed sheets and store them in their hospital.

That’s how they scaled the buying to scale up their commission.

I really do not understand why the Congress has such a suspicious attitude to Cockroach protest. It’s new, fresh and let me also say categorically, it is led by a young Dalit face. Since parties talk so much about social justice why be so wary of a young tech savvy force that’s emerging? There’s also an effective student group AISA involved. Have been out of Delhi but when I do get back will visit the young ones.

Delhi Police has cut off sanitation facility at Jantar Mantar after Sonam Wangchuk announced his hunger strike.

No water connection and hygiene measures.

Despite repeated pleas and telling them about Wangchuk ji’s age and health concerns, the Police is not cooperating and we suspect that other such basic facilities too will be cut off.
