Instead I got in for a quick surf, made breakfast for my kids, dropped one to crèche & was at my desk just after 9am.

At lunch I’ll walk the dog & probably buy from a local cafe.

The WDC has today launched a new immersive digital experience at Rathcroghan Visitor Centre in Co. Roscommon, showcasing how the West of Ireland can lead as a testbed for creativity and innovation.

Developed under the WDC-led N-LITE project, the installation reimagines Oweynagat (Ireland’s “Gate to Hell”) through immersive storytelling, blending heritage, mythology and digital technology.

Backed by €1.5m from the Interreg NPA Programme, N-LITE supports creative SMEs across Ireland, Finland, Sweden, the Faroe Islands and Norway to explore new tools, markets and opportunities in immersive tech.

🎮 The experience will also feature in Tale Smiths, a free game bundle launching on Steam, bringing Ireland’s stories to global audiences.
