I will curb my language but that tweet is disgusting. You profess to be an advocate of human rights, and the right to be treated with dignity after death is a basic human right everyone should have, yet you rejoice in her death. Yes, her religion guided her views on equality issues, and I had many disagreements with her, but as a gay man I counted her as a friend, as did many others. She was actually a profoundly kind person. She endorsed my candidacy knowing of my sexuality. She softened her views on equal marriage and told me in 2019 she would not support reversing it.
So be ashamed of yourself today, Peter. You do some great work, but in this instance it's you that's the bigot. Bigoted against the dead, and bringing upset to those of us who counted Ann as a friend. Think on that.

Here is my Pledge to not engage with digital ID, going in the post to Andy Burnham MP.

But it is more that just a pledge to not use any digital ID, it is a promise from me to the nation to fight back against its introduction until it is scrapped. I believe this is achievable if we work together and make our voices heard.

Join Together and get active, rather than passively not complying.
With easy and straightforward actions and campaigns enacted en masse, we can be a force of might that can alter the course our politicians are driving towards.

Ann Widdecombe was courageous and determined passionate with that good old British sense of humour

She personified commitment to belief in the Demos - the People. Kratia - power. Democracy

Sovereignty. Choice for us all to decide

She led fearlessly and we shall remember her for her service and duty.

I did this with @Iromg this morning before I knew about the latest ghastly news. It reinforces to me why we all have a duty to robust full open Civil Debate. Together
