The rise of artificial celebrities—may soon dominate the entertainment landscape. As we see a shift in how fame and influence are traded, I believe this will create significant economic incentives for the adoption of synthetic media production.

@BillAckman The ambiguous racism of over-educated Americans on full display. Was your ignorant analogy to Mexicans intended to make you look smart? Or virtuous? Your reference is reckless, racist and divisive and is neither relevant nor productive.

Inspired by the Mística Ciudad de Dios (Mystical City of God; 1670), written by the Spanish nun María de Jesús de Ágreda, the peculiar scene depicts the Virgin twice—below, between Saint Peter and Saint John, and above, rising to meet the Trinity. The repetition emphasizes Mary’s duality as body and soul. The angel gazing out invites the viewer to reflect on the mystery.
1719: Assumption of the Virgin (La Asunción de la Virgen), by artist: Antonio de Torres (Mexican, 1667–1731) Oil on canvas (Óleo sobre lienzo) at the Museo de Guadalupe, INAH, Secretaría de Cultura, Zacatecas, Mexico
