#Cuba Cuban human rights activist Guillermo del Sol has now been on hunger strike for 73 days, demanding the release of 18 remaining political prisoners in Cuba.

Last night, his son Adrián delivered a heartbreaking update:

“According to the intensive care physicians and cardiologists, he is now closer to death than to life, not only because of the hunger strike, but because of severe complications affecting his kidneys, heart, and diabetes.”

The Cuban regime must act before it is too late. No one should have to die demanding the freedom of political prisoners.
