Cameron Post, Water Lilies, But I'm A Cheerleader, Booksmart, Bottoms, Crush, Half of It, You Can Live Forever, Pariah, I'd never say we "don't need" Girls Like Girls (why do you need to need a movie?) but let's not act like it's not standing on the shoulders of giants
Pride 2026...
Though I'm busy this month, I want to try and draw some characters to represent pride :3
Of course we know the greatest lesbian is our favorite Prince Utena
Personally I'd imagine there's a chance that a bi person's cishet partner is homophobic because vulnerable people often end up with partners who are bigoted towards them! This applies across gender and race and many other axes of oppression in addition to sexuality! Come on
Yeah certainly the only way you could end up in a relationship with someone shitty is if you're a dumb whore who goes for the first dick you see. Real feminist
the assumption that a bi womans bf will be a bigoted cishet man comes from the stereotype that bi women are dumb whores who go for the first dick they see.
trio that has definitely been made before but I keep thinking about cause life is hard when you’re 15 and you have a huge heart and you’re so chalant but can’t express yourself and you’re the baby of the family and you were abandoned and you’re gay and
This discourse lead me to the most recent well put together study on representation : It found lesbians and gays were almost perfectly equal in representation.
i've decided to make a list of yuri manga for beginners 🌷
i thought it'd be nice to gather all yuri i think might interest new readers in one picture, with the title, cover and genre/theme so everyone can get a better visual idea of them 🤍 i hope you find your happiness here!
I often feel represented by bi women in fiction too because they’re queer women! Like obviously fiction should portray a variety of experiences but I don’t get this idea that you’re not represented by something unless it matches you perfectly
I don’t go hear but fwiw as a lesbian yeah I often feel represented by gay men in fiction. Because they’re gay. Like it’s not THE SAME as lesbian rep but it very much represents a portion of my experience actually
genuinely i’m kind of so tired of you people acting like bisexual men are representation for bisexual women when you would never accept a gay man as representation for lesbians
