What a great week at our junior golf camp. We had 12 golfers come out to learn more about the game and today we finished it off by playing 9-holes. It’s always great to start the summer on the course and to get our HS guys out to meet and work with our younger golfers.

Congratulations to Evan Reynard for signing to play golf and continue his education at Kentucky Christian University next year! He left his mark on our program and we’re sad to see him go but excited to see what the future holds for him.

Congrats to Jackson Meriweather who signed today with Ohio Dominican University to continue his golf career and his education majoring in Business. This young man has a great future ahead and we can’t wait to follow him at the next level. @AlderHS @aldergolf

Congratulations to Jackson Meriweather for signing his letter of intent to continue his golfing career and to attend Ohio Dominican University. We’re so proud of Jackson and all of his hard work and I’m excited to see where this journey takes him!

We’ve spent A LOT of time together since June 1. Everyone that’s a part of our program is a part of Alder Golf family. You don’t always get to choose your family, but I’m glad these guys chose to be a part of mine! I’m gonna miss these seniors but I can’t wait until next year!

We had a lot of fun Wednesday night celebrating our season. I’m always sad to see the season end but it’s also so much fun seeing all the boys joke around and laugh and to see the friendships that we’ve made throughout the season.

It was so much fun watching our future Pioneer golfers compete at the Dye Original course at UCC today. Extra special to watch my own son out there figuring his way up and down the rolling hills. 3rd place finish for the team! Two 8th graders, two 7th and two 6th on today’s team!

We’re going to miss these seniors but I’m so thankful for their leadership this season and for making this team into a family. Seniors set the tone with how they treat and welcome underclassmen, and these 2 are 2nd to none. Our program is better because they were a part of it!

We had the lead coming to the last green today and made them beat us. They made a birdie putt to steal the title from us. Heartbreaking way to lose but that’s golf. I’m proud of these young men for the way they prepared and the way they battled all day long!

What a fun night watching our seniors compete last night against Marysville. Thanks to everyone who came out to make it a night to remember for our team. The turnout was amazing with at least 75 people following the final group!
Now it’s time to turn our focus to the postseason!

Congratulations to Jackson for earning the Sportsmanship Award. Also to Jackson, Rylan, and Evan for earning 1st Team honors. And finally to Austin, Parker, and Ryan for earning 2nd Team honors. That’s right, all 6 golfers earned 1st or 2nd team honors! Maybe the 1st time ever!

Our team total 296 was good for 1st overall at the @CBC_Sports Postseason Tournament. Our 8th title in a row!
A great round by Jackson was the only round under par on the day and earned him medalist honors and the 4th best round in school history.
