funny thing today.

was explaining rosestar to a creator and by the end he offered to go find me more creators.

which is sort of the whole thesis happening in one move. if owning a piece of the thing makes you want to share it, the first creator becomes the second becomes the tenth. distribution that compounds instead of distribution i have to buy.

no idea yet if it survives contact with reality. but it felt like a small proof.

My creator revenue sharing was suspended under case CREATOR-147460 for alleged violation of Adult/Sexual Content standards.

I build @RosestarApp a token-gated creator platform on Solana that lets fans tip creators and unlock premium posts. After the suspension, I reviewed my account and removed any references that could have been misinterpreted.

the platform doesn’t accumulate either.. swaps are atomic on the AMM. fan’s token goes straight to the pool, SOL comes out to the creator in the same tx. no wallet sitting on inventory between events.

netting is the pool itself. new fan buys add SOL that absorbs unlock-driven sells. standard AMM. no batch settlement, no platform bag that someone has to unwind later.

been thinking about why creator coins keep failing the same way.

every platform pays the creator in their own token. so the creator’s wallet quietly accumulates a giant bag of the thing fans are holding. it’s public. anyone can see it.
the creator hasn’t done anything wrong. they just need rent money. the moment they sell a slice, the chart breaks and the holders feel betrayed.

the fix isn’t “lock the creator’s tokens.” that’s just deferring the problem. the fix is: don’t ever put the creator’s own token in the creator’s wallet. pay them in the base asset. let the swap happen at the platform layer.

creator never holds their token. nothing to dump. holders see a clean wallet on-chain. trust survives.

spent the weekend fixing a content leak in rosestar.

the "locked" overlay on premium posts was cosmetic.. the full media was already being delivered to the client. the blur was just CSS on top. anyone with devtools could strip it.

fix needed a tiny blurred variant (~1KB) to serve in place of the real asset until the user unlocks. consumer side had been wired to consume it since april. nobody ever shipped the producer.

shipped the producer. then realized 99% of new uploads still weren't getting it.. i was registering on the cron fallback path, not the webhook (which is the actual primary). shipped that too.

leak still not fully closed. one more PR for the surface audit.
