As promised, I’m hitting the ground running on DAY ONE! Today I was official took office as District 25’s State Assemblymember and immediately introduced my first bill to root out corporate special interest money in our democracy.
Here's what it'll do:
Thank you to everyone who stood with me over the years. It’s been a scary journey but I have always been grounded in my work and ability to provide exemplary service to my constituents. Trump and his administration have been after me since I arrived in Congress. I have always stood up to him and that will never change. The pedophile protector will never silence me.
TOMORROW (mañana) —
Looking forward to co-hosting our Day of the Dead celebration with @avanzando.newark ! Come join us this Saturday, October 17, for this community event of remembrance and festivities in Newark!
It is so sad to see Gavin Newsom be the poster child to ban any new wealth tax on billionaires.
I received this text and it is going to all California voters.
Treasonously stupid. MAGA, just remember tho he’s claimed we’ve “won” multiple times agaisnt Iran, his newest move is just to offer the destruction of some of the biggest American cities and military base
Republicans control Congress & the presidency now so nothing is stopping them from offering $5000 checks NOW. This is blatant attempted at illegal bribery for votes — attempt too cos they’re banking you’re stupid even to believe they’d even actually follow thru
Now that we’re wrapping up the last bill action deadline w Gov Newsom… which individual legislator do you think received the most vetoes in his 8 years as governor?

We cannot allow private prison corporations to operate without scrutiny and undermine community input as they continue to commit abhorrent human rights abuses. Proud that the Governor signed AB 1801, which is sponsored by @the_ilrc
NEWS: The Governor has signed my bill AB 1801!
The bill gives communities a real voice before local governments approve any new private immigrant camps, and ensures adequate time for people to provide input on these facilities
AI billionaires call for “AI regulation” knowing their bought right wing politicians & lobbyists will do everything to stop regulation. These corporations have ability to regulate themselves. Just nice PR for the architects of AI fueled human extinction

On August 27, ICE arrested Milo Yiannopoulos, an illegal alien from the United Kingdom, at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) in Kenner, Louisiana. Yiannopoulos legally entered the country on May 14, 2019, through New York City, New York. He chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws.
Yiannopoulos was issued a final order of removal by an Immigration Judge on July 22, after failing to show up for his immigration hearing. He will remain in ICE custody pending removal.
Being in detention is a choice. We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home App. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now. We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to come back to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. If not, you will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.
#AB1729 has passed the CA Senate 31-6, sending Asm. @alex_lee state telework bill to the
@CAgovernor. PECG sponsored the measure — good for the environment, good for
taxpayers, good for recruitment & retention — and we strongly urge its signature. #CAleg#RethinkRTO#Telework
BREAKING: AB1729 to restore telework and strong quality of life for our state workers PASSES 31-6 out of the senate and straight to the Governor’s desk. Over a supermajority vote in support. Thank you!
As ICE rapidly expands its detention system, the bill will ensure transparency and give communities a real, meaningful voice before local governments approve any new immigrant camps. The bill is sponsored by @the_ILRC
New immigration detention prisons are not wanted!
My bill AB 1801 to strengthen public oversight of immigrant detention centers is headed to the Governor’s desk after PASSING the Legislature
