Someone recently told me, when dealing with absolute grief, that if you can make it through an entire year of seasons, it will start to get a little easier. I understood her sentiment completely because I wrote an entire album about it. I just need to listen to it again and remember.

To all the super Moms who continue to show up, every day, reaching for their best selves. Through grief, pain, fear and vulnerability, I pray that you remember how important it is for your children to see you as human, as imperfect and as fragile, too. We will show them that true love begins in accepting the weaknesses in others.

20 years, hey? FD3 was a ride.. pun intended. To this day, I don't have the desire I once had to ride a roller coaster, and my trips to Home Depot will never be the same.. Though, I loved bringing Erin Ulmer to life, and I loved this cast. My favorite review came from The Philadelphia Inquirer, "The goth couple Ian (Kris Lemche) and Erin (Alexz Johnson) stood out. He's a cynical know-it-all, like Dennis Miller with black fingernails; she's like Parker Posey with raccoon mascara.."
