@uk_pax@emergencyukshow Oooooooooo bags. Ive never had experience of your bags but they look fantastic. Price though is a huge barrier for a small company like mine. One day
Out and about with my @SPServicesUK travel mug once again. Being bright yellow its hard to lose but it is easy to fill with used cannulas and sharps by accident
Thank you to @NCBFestival for having us as your medical provider. I know the team thoroughly enjoyed the event even though they werent able to partake in beer. Over the moon that youd like us to support in 2022 as well!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@MarcusYalman @gregwhitley7 @toby_MCC99 No i realise you didnt mean I.N but i wondered if it was a viable route to morphine sulph but as you say other drugs bettter suited to I.N route
@MarcusYalman @gregwhitley7 @toby_MCC99 I wonder if intranasal morphine sulphate is a thing **googles…… seemingly not. Bogo MS seems to have v poor bioavailability even compared to oramorph.
@srtcd424 @itsmyamygdala @madmouse42 @Ben_Roberts24 Im sure. The problem i think is that health professionals often have no/ little training in neurodiversity and how this can affect a patients experience of illness and injury
@srtcd424 @itsmyamygdala @madmouse42 @Ben_Roberts24 If id never met you before that would be very difficult for me so i would assess each case individually. But if you were with people that know you, they may be able to alert me to a change. I accept that we will sometimes get it wrong for which i am truly sorry
@itsmyamygdala @madmouse42 @Ben_Roberts24 They dont you are right, however behaviour changes are often evident when unwell or in pain. Conversly may demonstrate disproportionate response to pain
@madmouse42 @Ben_Roberts24 But even chronic pain will reflect in mobility, performance etc. Of course You dont have to be screaming though to be in pain. This thread i think is more in reference to acute pain problems though
@gregwhitley7 @toby_MCC99 This has huge potential to drive change. Paramedics need access to a fast acting non parenteral analgesia because no paramedic wants to stick a child. So we are left with either entonox (most kids too small/ distressed to use) or oramorph (a largely pointless ‘emergency drug’)
