Hi @wmataGM. I would like to request @wmata add a stop for SB M22 at University Blvd W & East Ave in Wheaton. There is already a @MCDOTNow RideOn stop there for routes 34 & 4. Housing, shopping & food nearby. @MDSHA recently upgraded ped signals. Would reduce rider confusion.

Alex Pretti, the man who was killed by Border Patrol in Minneapolis on Saturday, was seen reading a final salute to a veteran who died in 2024 in a video shared by the service member's son.

Pretti, 37, was an intensive care nurse at a Veterans Affairs hospital who cared deeply about people and was upset by President Trump's immigration crackdown in his city, family members said. Pretti was a U.S. citizen, born in Illinois.

"Never wanted to share this video but his speech is very on point," Mac Rudolph wrote on social media. "Also my Fathers final words to me was to continue to fight the good fight. He would be honored in Alex' sacrifice, and ashamed of this current administration."

The Department of Homeland Security said the agent acted in self-defense after attempting to disarm Pretti, but Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said that account was "nonsense" after reviewing videos of the shooting. https://t.co/v1pPRjs9vm

As of this morning, the @PepcoConnect streetlight outage reporting web page is still down. I was able to report the outage by calling the service center. Call duration was about 9 minutes. The friendly rep informed me it would take up to 45 business days to change the bulb.

@Metrobusinfo Hi @wmata & @wmataGM. I hope you'll abandon plans to relocate the M22 bus at Wheaton station to bay A. The current placement at bay E is superior for Kensington-bound riders because the 3 frequent services @RideOnMCT 34 & 41 are adjacent. Avoids the need to run from bay to bay.
