The UK is making it a crime to advocate for dogs.
The creator of Save the Dogs UK, a campaign based on our rescue effort at Ridglan Farms, was raided and arrested for merely MAKING A WEBSITE to condemn the torture of dogs at MBR.
Here is his statement.
A petition calling on the UK Home Office to shut down MBR Acres, a beagle breeding facility in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, has gathered nearly 190,000 signatures. Over 2,000 beagle puppies are bred at the site every year.
Some are bled and dissected on-site. Others are sent to laboratories for toxicology testing where they are force-fed chemicals and killed.
Animal Rising, which organised the petition, argues that proven alternatives already exist. Organ-on-a-chip technology, AI modelling, and human cell-based testing can replace animal experiments today. Campaigners say these methods are more accurate and more ethical.
In 2022, Animal Rising rescued 23 puppies from the facility. Twenty rescuers will face court this year, pleading not guilty to burglary charges. The organisation is calling the trial an opportunity to put animal testing itself on public trial.
The petition calls on the Home Office to safely rehome all beagles at MBR Acres, shut the facility permanently, and invest in modern humane testing alternatives.
I lost my beloved daughter Grace O’Malley-Kumar in the Nottingham attacks. She was a 19 year old medical student. She fought a marauding man almost twice her age armed with a dagger. She tried to protect a friend and paid the ultimate price. She placed,

Ed Davey has written to Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson demanding she WITHDRAW official EHRC guidance protecting female-only spaces in toilets and changing rooms.
Let that land.
The Equalities and Human Rights Commission — a statutory body — has produced legally grounded guidance telling employers and public bodies that biological men should not access women’s single-sex spaces.
This is not opinion.
This is not politics.
This is the settled legal position following the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling on the meaning of “woman” under the Equality Act.
And Ed Davey wants it gone.
His stated reason?
The guidance is not “compatible with long-standing British values.”
British values.
He used those words to argue AGAINST protecting women’s single-sex spaces.
The same Liberal Democrats who lecture the country about tolerance, inclusion and human rights are now lobbying a Labour minister to tear up statutory guidance that protects every woman in Britain who walks into a changing room, a refuge or a hospital ward.
This is not a fringe position within the Lib Dems.
Their leader wrote the letter.
The party has chosen its side.
It is not the side of women.
Repost if you think women’s single-sex spaces should be protected.
“Marshall Farms is a torture chamber. It is a stain on New York.”
The @USDA estimates 16,000 beagles are held behind this fortress. Many don't know it's in our backyard. They do now. I was proud to join advocates fighting gainst testing on cats and dogs. We won’t stop until it’s banned and this place is shut down
ABC News just broadcast a 10-minute segment that set out the right to rescue and reached ~1 million people.
This movement is just getting started. And we're not stopping until EVERY one of these defenseless pups is safe.
📣 PLEASE SHARE — TOMORROW IS THE FIRST DAY
Tomorrow, people from across the country will begin gathering outside Marshall BioResources in North Rose, New York, to stand for the approximately 26,000 beagles still trapped inside.
The momentum from Ridglan Farms showed the world that people are paying attention. Conversations are growing louder, awareness is spreading, and now it is time to keep that momentum moving forward.
These dogs are born into cages.
They never chose this life.
They need people willing to stand up and be their voice.
Join us peacefully in North Rose and help shine a national spotlight on a system that many advocates believe no longer belongs in the modern world.
📍 STAND FOR THE BEAGLES VIGIL
May 28–30, 2026
Thursday, Friday, or Saturday
9am–5pm EST
Attend any day that works for you
5800 Lake Bluff Road
North Rose, NY 14516
Event details link in the first comment below.
This vigil is hosted by Beagle Lovers And Rescuers Inc. (BLR), a nonprofit founded by people who opened their homes to former research beagles and refused to stay silent. BLR has worked alongside whistleblowers and advocates to help expose what happens behind closed doors while pushing for modern non-animal testing alternatives.
🐶 The beagles inside Marshall BioResources cannot speak for themselves.
But WE can.
Riot police arrested me for saving dogs from Ridglan Farms.
The sheriff called us "violent."
The real violence is not helping dogs.
It's letting powerful corporations torture them in the first place.
I’m now facing 31 years in prison for rescuing beagles.
The real criminals are animal abusers — not animal rescuers.
Our jury will agree.
We’re going to trial later this year. Follow to help us win.

TODAY: The Daily Mail published an interview with me about my felony charges for saving beagles from Ridglan Farms.
I'm grateful for the coverage.
Let's keep on building momentum to save the pups — including the 15,000+ stuck in labs at MBR in New York.
Ridglan is only the tip of the iceberg.
Beagle testing is a multi-million dollar industry subsidized by your tax dollars.
And Marshall BioResources is “another Ridglan Farms—times eight.”
“Follow the money.”
WCW Senior VP Justin Goodman warns: “As long as [FDA and NIH are] strongly recommending and funding dog testing, it is going to continue.”
“And someone is gonna pick up the slack if and when Ridglan winds down.”
Meanwhile, NIH and HHS still have nothing to say about the Ridglan scandal.
FOX6 News reached out to NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya for an interview.
HHS staff asked if they would speak with Deputy Director Nicole Kleinstreuer instead.
FOX6 said yes.
But then, HHS told them “no one was available to talk.”
RFK Jr. and Kleinstreuer can try to ignore this scandal, but they cannot make it go away.
We will make sure that this scandal does not go away unless and until all NIH funding for beagle experiments is shut down once and for all.
Stay tuned.

I'm excited to go to trial.
These abuses are no longer hidden in the dark.
We are shining light on what happens to millions of animals in labs across the country.
And a jury will get to decide whether they pups are mere "things" to test on — or living beings who should be protected under the law.
I’m now facing 31 years in prison — even more than before!
Prosecutors just added 3 more felony charges against me before my arraignment today.
All because I volunteered to save beagles from criminal abuse at Ridglan Farms.
