When I first became a member of the @SpeechUnion in 2020, my primary motive was to support their ethos and their work. It has only been during the first few weeks of the new Labour government that I've begun to consider my membership as something I may be doing for my own sake.
@MichelleDewbs I've just finished watching your programme from this evening on YouTube, Michelle. You may be emotionally wrung out just now, but I can tell you, what you're doing has value. Please keep going.
@TomK_Brit1993@GBPolitcs@NationCymru Only a couple of years ago, a Conservative could easily have said exactly the same thing about Reform. Yet here we are.
@PaulEmbery If she thinks this is the way to reduce rather then exacerbate the rage that many are increasingly feeling, she's even more of an idiot than the average member of our political class.
@GBPolitcs We're outraged by the part the political class has played in each terrible tragedy, and then they have the damned cheek to tell us to calm down about it.

We're outraged by the part the police and especially the political class have played in each terrible tragedy, and then they have the damned cheek to tell us to calm down about it.
@MindOverNoise93@JuliaHB1@Keir_Starmer You're the third person to mention it, so I guess it must be true. I almost don't want to check what Jones has said. I'm outraged enough as it is.
@GoodwinMJ I could almost become more outraged by this weaselly crap from Hillary Benn as I am about the attempted beheading. In a way, Benn and his ilk are MORE responsible for the atrocity than the perpetrator.
@JuliaHB1 If only I knew what to do to ensure that in another 13 years, we're not having the same conversation. We're made to feel that our rage marks us out as 'far-right', but simply remaining calm sure as hell isn't doing anything.
