we carry tremendous impact in our relationships with others. It’s great we have #WhiteCoatsForBlackLives but as long as we have workers complacent in a system that allows our black patients to needlessly suffer and die, then chanting a phrase is nothing more than self-serving

But change comes from our intimate human connections. Think of those people who helped you to grow and evolve into the person you were today, it’s extremely likely that you had some direct connection with them- a family member, friend, teacher, coworker, community member, etc.
