@robwilson456 @rosscolquhoun @andyburnham Anas led Scottish Labour to their worst Scottish Parliament electoral defeat in 2021, then did even worse this year when he made the election campaign narrative all about him.

He also promised to abolish the House of Lords until it suited him to abandon ship and head off there.

Merely pointing out that Anas stood in Glasgow Central in 2015 and didn't win, Glasgow Southside in 2021 and didn't win, and Glasgow Cathcart and Pollok in 2026 and also didn't win.

Anas Sarwar hasn't won a seat he's stood in since 2010 and, if this is true, he never has to bother standing for election again.

In May, I asked Anas Sarwar whether he’d take a seat in the House of Lords if he lost the election. His answer was no. He said he was focused on serving the people of Scotland.
