i legit cried watching this. so many people told me she’d asked for me but to actually see it for myself means the world. she is unbelievable and i can’t get over how perfect my moments with her were. i am the happiest i’ve ever been and feel beyond lucky. love her endlessly💛
me and my partner were commenting on although small, the reaction from ryan, carla and lisa in this scene when they finally grasp what she’s saying is so incredibly realistic. the relief and nervous laughter, trying to turn it humorous for the one suffering… it hit home hard.
the agony in lisa’s expression when she can’t understand what betsy’s saying but tries to hold it together, carla being so supportive and helping without making a fuss of it and ryan being the much needed comic relief 🥺 everything about this scene is so heartbreakingly perfect
@itvcorrie@sydneymartin_x ; take a bloody bow. phenomenal performance tonight and such an important storyline that is going to educate so many. literally out here changing lives ✨
this storyline is so fucking good because sexual kink's have become so fabricated in books/tv/social media/films that no one is aware of the dangers that come with exploring that side of sex, incredible from corrie!
at the beginning of last year I had to call an ambulance out for my mother-in-law who was having a stroke. I cared for her for 2 months, doing all her therapies with her. such a difficult time. she also experienced expressive aphasia.. seeing a soap cover it so well means a lot🥺
we’ve experienced multiple strokes with family members and honestly #corrie portrayed betsy’s so hauntingly well tonight. what an absolute triumph of a performance from @sydneymartin_x. utterly heartbreaking but what an episode!!! wow.
i fear zoe slater is proof that some iconic storylines and characters should just be left in the past because they’ve just bought her back to barely do anything good with her and then kill her off???? i’m annoyed
