Gulf states do not host military bases, invest billions, buy weapons, and maintain strategic partnerships in order to see their region descend into war & chaos.Such partnerships are meant to enhance security and stability, not create new conflicts and deepen regional instability.

The war on Iran was a strategic mistake. Attempting to compensate for that failure by pressuring Gulf states to join the Abraham Accords and normalize relations with Israel would be another. Regional stability is built through diplomacy and consensus, not coercion and threats.

Certainly. Threatening Oman-a peaceful, neutral, and longtime U.S. partner- is a serious strategic mistake. Undermining one of the most reliable and trusted diplomatic bridges with Iran only weakens diplomacy and further damages American credibility in the Gulf.
