@cactusflamingo_ Did you reply "I agree, it should be part of the development process, before you even start thinking about releasing!!!" and give them a "bring it" face and stare them in the eyes?
@cactusflamingo_ I know that's not what people are saying they're going to do, but it might be what people are expecting. I would advocate for "lets find out what the software does now."
@cactusflamingo_ so... lots of people have concentrated on not being a blame culture and/or not being the babysitters for developers. My main focus would be - whilst it is possible to find out if people have "broken EVERYTHING", it isn't possible to "make sure people haven't broken ANYTHING" 1/2
@cactusflamingo_ Thank you. I wrote it a long time ago and still occasionally have to remind myself of it when things are not going exactly how I think they should.
@cactusflamingo_ I always think it's worth figuring out why people want the things they want, whilst giving everyone the benefit of the doubt and figuring out what the advantage to you could be. https://t.co/36flsyqhtr
I mean, of course, sometimes people are just being awful.

Absolutely killer talk from @LeadTestInclude at #testbash yesterday. Also it was a joy to finally meet him properly. (the fault for the long delay is totally mine.)
The Power of Storytelling by @gwaterhouse85 touched upon something that I definitely don't think we focus on enough. He also had my favourite slides of the day at #TestBash
Am I going to be rushing to @ministryoftest once the talks are uploaded from #testbash so I can rewatch @DanAshby04 talk on evolving our testing? Yes! There was so much I wanted to take away from it that just wasn't possible to keep up with. Gold on every slide.
Don't be distracted by the dance from @TesterFromLeic and @QAgile_stu. Their talk at #testbash was incredible. Lot's of really useful take homes. Enjoying the sliding scale of directiveness.
I'll be at #testbash this week. I'm Dave,(I run @TheGuiltyTester), and I would love to talk to people. I am not as confident approaching people as you may think so feel free to come and say hello to me, I'm unlikely to be brave. Thanks to @FullSnackTester for starting the trend.
