been looking at @axisrobotics a while now.
Robots need a lot of practice data to learn how to do real jobs in the real world. right now mostly big labs collect that data and it's slow and limited.
what these guys are doing is different. normal people can just open a browser on their laptop and control a robot in a computer simulation.
they do simple tasks like picking things up or moving objects. that practice data then helps train actual robots.
the idea is simple smarter robots shouldn't only come from a few big companies. regular people can also help build them.
it sounds really amazing 🫡😒
