@_AndreaCatania Great points. It used to be important to be efficient and for the software to extract the most out of the hardware. However these days, for most games, hardware isn't a limitation and the code can be less efficient but more user friendly, which is for the best.

@Fizzi36 I assume this only triggers during the event of a timeout situation. Also curious how 45 was chosen, I've seen tournaments with higher. 45 is rare but possible to hit in some match-ups in long games even when not intentionally stalling. 8 minute peach/puff comes to mind.
Dear people making video games:
You don't need to use cards. We use cards in real life as a crutch. They suck. Stop bringing them into games.
You can do the same mechanics with ANYTHING ELSE infinitely more interesting than cards.
hi everyone. @terrybrash copied my game “dire decks” and is releasing it on steam under a different name without my permission. i have tried to get him to take the game down but he is unwilling to do so. not sure what to do in this situation…
@md40dev Thanks dude, I’ve thought about the sprite frames to fake the dots moving myself! I’m sure there’s a way to do it with code… but this works too!
My project, Isle Of Burden, is starting to look like a game!
Today I added the shield icon to display your block value. It has a small break animation when you're out of block.
