@FutbolMuu Nobody hates on Ronaldo just for the sake of it. We hate on him because he's a selfish, entitled, narcissistic pr*ck. Before that, I idolized him like every good United did. Meanwhile, Messi gifts PKs because it is more important to share the wealth than to chase a number.
@FabrizioRomano Anyone who has played football in a torrential downpour knows how heavy the legs can get on a drenched pitch. Muscle fatigue is all it was. And Messi knows his body well enough to know when muscle fatigue is a risk factor for muscle strain. He's done this before. Not to worry.
@TouchlineX +1
Lionel Messi averages 4.58 successful dribbles per 90 minutes across his top-flight and Champions League career, while Cristiano Ronaldo averages just 2.22 successful dribbles per 90 minutes. Messi's total 3,280. Ronaldo's total 1,720.
@TouchlineX Add 24 goals to Messi's count which is his conversion rate of PKs gifted to teammates. How many PKs has Ronaldo gifted? That's a rhetorical question.
@chriswithans@TalkinBaseball_ Yup. Considering how readily starters are pulled when they reach a certain pitch count, the No-No watch starts early these days.
@LainEsper@tombogert What MLS ideas are missing is form. It's the same reason MX sides don't fare well in the Leagues Cup. But I'm sure the theory will be put to the test when MLS flips the calendar.
@MLS@SoundersFC The "away goal" rule has been proven to do exactly the opposite of what was hoped it would do, which is why UEFA discontinued it. CONCACAF keeps it only to avoid extra time, but UEFA doesn't share the same concern. The football world is laughing at CONCACAF.
@Pirates They don't make 'em like Scap Iron anymore. He was the Jack Lambert of the Pirates. Rest in Peace, old friend. You and the rest of the Family gave me some of best Bucco memories of my childhood.
@CatholicSat Truly saddened by the Protestants here mocking what they do not understand as usual. But you'll hear it in any Evangelical church on any given day. Like some kind of derangement syndrome. As if their faith is driven more by a phobia than a hope in Christ.
@JustMe174913954@CatholicSat@CF_Farrow Here we go again. Critique from those who follow a system of belief invented 1500 years after the death and resurrection of Christ. A system, btw, invented solely for political reasons, not theological ones. You're welcome to watch, but please do so respectfully.
