@Hertz And @thriftycars said return the car or pay an extra $300 despite road closures and a state of emergency.
We tried and failed but they charged us an extra $700 anyway.
@AmonteWalker We would be happy to look further in to this for you. Please send us a private message with more details if you are the primary renter for this reservation. ~Kay https://t.co/yGBlkN9QRG
@Hertz The primary renter is waiting on a call from @thriftycars, who he almost had to sleep in a car for attempting to return during record snow, then got charged more than 2x what we were told, despite lying to our faces at the rental office.
@thriftycars Follow the other thread, scumbag. You overcharged me and my friend $700 for unnecessarily risking our lives during record snow to return your vehicle.
It would be cool if institutions actually provided some evidence as to why they think this is Russian/state-sponsored.

NYT journalists think "red team" means Russia lol. Would love for @ggreenwald or @mtaibbi to dig into how frequently media's claims of "Russain Hacking" are supported by zero forensic evidence.

Fun Fact: While it may sound ridiculous that anyone would send BTC in response to these tweets, an analysis of the BTC wallet shows that over the past 24 hours it has processed 383 transactions & received almost 13 BTC — or roughly $117,000.
