@SteveBoxman@banjoiced "the timing of it is poor" well seeing as he stopped the fight after the bell had rung, I think this is pretty significant in identifying whether the stoppage was bad or not.
The refereeing during that fight was superb, he trusted that Fury wasn't done, and we got that amazing payoff in the last round as a result of it.
So many people saying Usyk "would have" finished him in the 12th, but you absolutely never know in boxing. Usyk couldn't land a clean punch for 11 rounds but yeah "job was done" for sure. Absolute joke.
@zombiemanjay@TRAPPADUNYATRAP You people act like you've never seen someone spit out a mouthguard in boxing before. If he did it twice in two rounds in a row it's a different story, but in this case he was comfortably within the realms of plausible deniability, you can't use it against him.
@Cameron08048265@r_nvmber@Combat_Casuals@terencecrawford Wardley was getting a beating for almost the entire fight. Completely different situation. Consistent damage throughout a fight is far more dangerous to a fighter than what happened to Rico. Horrible stoppage.
@ccfc21@tojiMatrix@mewgenicsfans@Combat_Casuals did it twice in a 12 round fight, once at the beginning, once in the 11th. while yes he was probably buying time in the 11th, he didn't take it too far at all.
@JJA_7Seven@SteveSpevack he was looking for one shot since round 1, dude was throwing and missing overhands like a prime ksi. levels to this fight thing.
