@SocialRuwan@GoodwinMJ I don't belive Matt nor the vast majority of people in Britain have any issue with Sikhs nor anyone who assimilates.
It's those who don't, and indeed make demands that things change in their direction and for some unknown reason, become protected or positively discriminated.
@TheDesKelly Did the French and Belgians apply the same checks to those travelling to England by dinghy?
Why would anyone want to subjugate themselves to such a useless & corrupt organisation that is the EU.
@linmeitalks I don't remember resenting contributing to my elders when I was working and paying my dues. Indeed it was a privilege as I was fortunate to have a job (coal miner) in the 80s.
@BWoodzy99 If you stop benefits to those who have contributed, then surely you will be in favor of stopping all benefits to those who have NOT contributed?
@narindertweets@QeenKGino@oftenpartizan And there it is, said out loud. She thinks the indigenous people 90%, are useless without the people from other countries.
Now who's the Racist?
The Free Speech Union is bringing a judicial review against Communities Secretary Steve Reed, challenging his decision to impose an official definition of โanti-Muslim hostilityโ (Islamophobia).
This is a Muslim blasphemy law by the back door, which will silence legitimate criticism of Islam and prevent people from speaking out on issues such as the grooming gangs scandal.
The proposed definition is vague and subjective, and liable to be weaponised to shut down lawful debate about Islam, Muslims, and Islamic practices and history.
Adopting such a definition โ let alone appointing an Islamophobia โTsarโ โ breaches the โoccupying the fieldโ doctrine in public law.
Our lawyers have sent a Pre-Action Protocol letter setting out why the definition is unlawful, and have asked the Government to pause both its rollout and the appointment of the โTsarโ until the case is resolved.
Judicial reviews against Secretaries of State are costly, but this is a fight we must win.
Blasphemy laws were abolished by Parliament in 2008 โ letโs keep it that way.
