@ckelly202@AARPLouisiana We were against bc every other state is controlling cost growth by expanding care 4 older adults who want to live at home instead of bldg nursing homes. Our feeling is that now is not the time to reopen or replace shuttered nursing homes, especially ones on or near the coast
Today we recognized @TannerDMagee with the AARP 2023 Legislator of the Year Award for his tireless work on behalf of family caregivers and his legislation that will help more older adults live at home.
SB 39 heads to the desk of @LouisianaGov! This bill was the @AARPLouisiana top priority and will make it easier to remain in your own home as you age. Special thx to @GeraldBoudreaux and @TannerDMagee for leading the effort!
