How close is the James Gunn Superman to the comics?
I think his version connected with me because they reversed the isolation of the character. It was feeling isolation of external acceptance instead of internal understanding. It made the character so much warmer and relatable.
@helpmeimsmall no celebrities but dreamt I turned into a rat and blew up the planet to stop an evil force. Then went through an after life process that was a mix of the ending of this is the end and Uno.
I really enjoy his work but it's hard to not feel like the last stretch of Mission Impossible movies aren't I'm the saviour propaganda. Whether intentional or not it's tough to separate what's action hero stuff and what's this is how Tom Cruise views himself.
@helpmeimsmall Dreamt I was on a cooking show that fat Val Kilmer was on. I didn't see he was part of it until I left the set. Everyone talked about how good his documentary was.
Was on the fence about sharing this since I shared a dream so recently but fat Val is notable
@helpmeimsmall You get all the celebrity dreams through the end of the year and then we split it evenly for a fantastic 2026. All I want is a bench spot on any celebrity bowling teams. I'm tossing that thing straight in the gutter but I'm a good morale guy.
