The quality, scope and reputation of public higher education in Arkansas are taking hits under sustained attacks from powerful conservatives hurling accusations of left-wing indoctrination.

THE ARKANSAS LEGISLATURE CONVENES TOMORROW FOR THE FISCAL SESSION 🚨
During the fiscal session, legislators will approve our state budget. And the budget the GOP legislature and Gov. Sanders is proposing is BAD NEWS for Arkansas.
IT’S SAD BUT TRUE— Gov. Sanders and the Republican Supermajority will push a budget that funds private school vouchers as their TOP PRIORITY with no end in sight.
You are probably asking…
What about increasing funding for child care to help working families?
Or… providing more support to our senior centers or centers for adults with disabilities?
How about supporting our rural hospitals? Making it more affordable and accessible for Arkansans to see a doctor?
Nope. Not even one of these things is a priority in the GOP budget.
THESE ARE YOUR TAX DOLLARS, ARKANSAS 👀 We can’t afford this out-of-control spending— and Democrats believe we deserve better.
Watch as Rep. @andrewcollinsAR breaks it down on Arkansas Week 👇
The #arleg returns next week for its fiscal session, a meeting designed primarily to address the state's budget for the upcoming year. At 7:30 p.m. on #ARWeek, @AR_HouseSpeaker Brian S. Evans (R) and House Minority Leader Rep. @andrewcollinsAR (D) share what’s in store.
We are proud of the outdoor recreational opportunities in our part of Little Rock! And with "benign voyeurs" and "vegetable burglars," the prose in this enjoyable article is as flowery as the landscape. https://t.co/WqJmzgKMx8

This is what the Republican health care cuts look like. If you think you’re not affected, think again. Fewer options, higher costs.

So sorry to hear of Rep. Stan Berry’s passing. The year I was elected, he came back to the House, and we served on several committees together. He was frank, funny, warm, kind, and always great company. We’ll miss Stan.
I am thrilled to see Democrat Alex Holladay flip the first seat of the cycle in Arkansas, winning big to become the next State Representative for North Little Rock and Sherwood. He’ll do a great job! #arpx#arleg
Little Rock did a great job during @LRMarathon as always. Thanks to police, medical, aid stations, fans, runners, walkers, and everyone who chipped in to make this a big weekend for tourism and civic pride.
THIS IS WHAT INTIMIDATION LOOKS LIKE: New "fraud" investigator hired by Arkansas Sec. of State Cole Jester shows up at Little Rock church, flashes badge & demands ID from women collecting petition signatures for constitutional amendments.
