the collectibles category on its own is set to grow by around 8% a year over the next decade

i suspect on chain collectibles growth will absolutely dwarf that number.

so far it has started with tcgs, but the sky is the limit, next we'll be seeing comics, manga and all kinds of collectibles on chain.

if you are into crypto and into collectibles you should absolutely be paying attention to these companies like @Collector_Crypt @Beezie @mnstr plus many others

the gachas themselves are a Trojan horse to getting inventory on chain, even though we are starting to see marketplace activity pick up we still havent seen anywhere near what is possible, the selling experience is so seamless on chain, the cards are already verified, the fees are a fraction of what it would cost to sell on ebay etc, the transaction is instant
