What is the correct speed?

Tell me. Assign it a numerical value.

If the globe is heating up too quickly, well, there must be a correct value that is ought to, right?

In actual science (which climatstrology does not fall under the umbrella of), you have to express what you are talking about in numbers. It isn’t art class where qualitative descriptions can pass.

The fact is that there is NOTHING at all “unusual” about the speed of “climate change” in the geological record. There just isn’t.

You are peddling a MYTH. 🤥

When the “global mean temperature” (an utterly useless metric that nobody feels, but I digress) changes (regardless of the proximate cause), the largest magnitude of change occurs in the higher latitudes. Temperatures in the tropics change very little.

Ice is a very good indicator of temperature (much better than tree rings and other proxies). The Greenland temperature reconstruction, built from six different ice cores, shows that rapid fluctuations in air temperatures have occurred in the past in the region.

Since Greenland is in the high latitudes where changes in a global mean are supposed to be the most pronounced, it is extremely likely that the current spike in “global mean temperature” is not at all, unprecedented, not even in the last 20,000 years.

They come into power in a country and purposely get it into such disrepair (deindustrialisation comes to mind) that the IMF needs to bail them out with a loan that they are never able to pay back, the country goes poor due to the interest payments, whilst these hitmen (likely starmer/miliband) accrue a small fortune themselves. If you need proof, read the book ‘confessions of a economic hitman’. This is what the IMF does, they place countries into unsustainable debt, making them politically and economically dependent.
