His legacy is in the good work he did for his community and the love of his family.
We are so grateful for all the many, many, friends who have come to give condolences and share memories of our Dad. If you’d like to donate to the Dementia Cafe, please let me know🙏🏽
My father Harbhajan Singh passed away peacefully at home on 12th Nov 2025. A week ago we had his funeral. We celebrated a life of adventure, family and friendships. A life that took him from Basra to Karachi to Delhi to London. A life where he was a refugee, immigrant, proud Sikh
Mum looked after him with devotion and kindness. Remarkably, she turned something that shrinks people’s lives into something that made theirs bigger - running a Dementia Cafe to support dementia carers and destigmatise the disease.

#Vaisakhi di lakh lakh vadaiiyan. Guru Gobind Singh ji taught us courage and fearlessness. May his teachings grant us all strength to fight injustice, and may the pure love he had for his Khalsa warm us all.

@tony4rochdale Deepest condolences to Tony’s family. A wonderful, kind, supportive person to work with who had a quiet, gentle humour, and was a principled and committed MP. RIP x
@unzela_ Ambala Drummond St - best jalebi, ladoos and coconut barfi outside of Meerut! So, so many happy memories of journeying from Wembley there, and the anticipation of breaking into the Ambala mithai boxes which were a must buy gift for all dinner parties my parents attended.
My grandma ( Nani ) had her initials GK tattoed on her wrist. She told me her parents had it done in case she got lost during the several days they spent at train stations during Partition. https://t.co/MEqmIFc3DI
