Dairy Business Led A 19-year-old Woman Become Kidnapper?

A 19-year-old woman, Chahat alias Annu, has been arrested for allegedly plotting an attempt to forcibly abduct a woman on Sahastradhara Road in Dehradun. Four other accused are reportedly absconding.

According to police, the alleged motive was a ₹7.5 lakh financial dispute linked to a dairy business. Annu and Deepak had purchased an 11-cow dairy from Sushma Verma.

Police say a dispute arose over the cows producing less milk than expected and the recovery of the money invested in the dairy.

The accused allegedly rented a car and went to Sahastradhara to intimidate Sushma and force her into the vehicle. She raised an alarm, prompting locals to approach, after which the accused fled.

Four others named by police: Deepak, Sushant alias Lucky, Aditya Vashisht and Priyanshu.

“बद्रीनाथ धाम में संगीत समारोह ( DJ concert) को अनुमति प्रदान करना ना केवल सांस्कृतिक मर्यादाओं का उन्लंघन है अपितु धाम की पवित्रता पर भी सीधा आघात है। आदि गुरु शंकराचार्य महाराज जी द्वारा इस धाम की स्थापना हिमालयी पर्यावरण मे शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से भगवत भजन के लिए की थी उल्लेखनीय है कि इस स्थान पर शंख बजाना भी मना है परंतु हम उसे भूलकर शोर शराबे वाले संगीत कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन कर भारतीय आध्यात्मिक, सांस्कृतिक, पर्यावरणीय मूल्यों की घोर उपेक्षा तो कर ही रहे है साँथ में इतनी ऊचाई पर हजारों लोगो के नाचने से उनके स्वास्थ पर पड़ने वाले दुष्प्रभावों की भी उपेक्षा कर रहे है। यह इस बात का प्रतीक है कि अब देवभूमि को बाजारू संस्कृती के रूप में परिणीत किया जा रहा है।

On June 24, 2025 ECI announced SIR will be done across the country, starting with Bihar. On July 28, 2025 I filed an RTI application seeking a copy of all the files vide which the decision to initiate SIR across the country was approved by the ECI. The matter went up to the First Appellate Authority- the Principal Secretary of ECI who in his order stated- “appellant is informed that the Commission has so far not taken any decision on initiating a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) across the country in 2025.”
So the question really is - who took the decision to undertake the SIR?

Daylight attempted kidnapping in Dehradun!

A woman returning home after dropping her daughter for the college bus was allegedly stopped by two men in a black Swift, who tried to forcibly pull her into the car. CCTV captured the incident. The accused fled after she raised an alarm. Police have formed 3 teams to trace them.
