A great article. Challenging disability payments is always fraught with risk; it’s never a good look to be seen to be removing help from those who most need it. The irony is that the current system is so overstretched that that’s exactly what’s happening.

Interesting article in the Times today about neanderthalers with Down Syndrome. But the assumption that anyone with DS is a burden needs correcting. I would think that anyone with DS who survived infancy would be a positive asset
