I want to say one last thing, and that's you can dislike an album all you want, that was never the issue, the issue is saying Halsey has "main character syndrome" for writing an album while dying of cancer and thinking it would be the last album they would ever make.

the issue isn’t that he didn’t like the album. it’s that he was dismissive and disrespectful concerning the subject matter. you can say an album sounds bad to you w/o calling it MCS to talk about your cancer battle on your own album

I’m certain my least memorable song will be remembered more fondly and for more time than anything you ever do with your life will be. Everything you say is more “whiny” and “edgy” than I was at any point on that album. But at least I had the excuse of going through chemo.
