@rajatsaha_@himantabiswa@CMOfficeAssam APDCL promptly mobilised its field teams, who worked through the night to restore and re-energise the feeder by 10:50 PM. The verified total outage duration was 1 hour and 50 minutes—not 12 hours.
Snapshots of the restoration work are attached for reference.
@rajatsaha_@himantabiswa The claim is inaccurate and does not reflect the verified facts. According to APDCL field records, at around 9:00 PM on 26.08.2026, an unknown vehicle damaged a 33 kV pole on the Jahajduba–Tezpur Town feeder, affecting Tezpur Town DSS.

Public safety came first during the recent floods, with power supply being temporarily suspended as a precaution. Following extensive safety checks, electricity has now been restored in phases across the affected areas.
Restoration work on the Betbari–Dimou 33 kV line is also underway with NDRF assistance.
Additionally, the flood-affected Kuwargaon 33/11 kV Substation has been charged up to the Power Transformer (PTR). Restoration of the 11 kV panels is currently in progress.
