@mattLarnold This kind of thing has been hurting the game here in the UK for ages now. When you need to go to the pixel level to find an offside then you run into the problem of exactly timing when the ball was played. Impossible to do accurately enough.
@TheUpAheadApp Yes, yes, absolutely, I’ve been on the iOS and iPad iOS betas since July.
Btw, I’ve been finding this a great ADHD helper. Good for the time blindness.
@melissacash_@GlennonDoyle I believe there’s a “reality”. I just don’t think we have any good reason to believe that what we perceive as reality is an especially accurate representation of it. Which opens up a whole multiverse of cans each of which is filled with infinite worms. I call this Worm Theory. 😁
@tamler Demanding an apology is a way of highlighting grievance. If successful you win either way. If they don’t apologise they’ll appear callous. If they do apologise you’ve asserted dominance. Making someone say something they don’t believe is a classic power play.
@GaryLineker He talks about not running up a dept that our children will have to service and then he ghosts on the issue our children will most painfully face.
@georgehahn@profgalloway @RichardEGrant I’ve no idea what’s happening here. He’s such a great actor that it took me a while to figure out if I was watching a beautifully performed monologue.
This is what a real politician sounds like. Compare this to the nonsense we’ve been dealing with from the conservatives for years now. This is a plan. This is meaningful action.
The Conservatives crashed the economy and now threaten to make deep cuts to school budgets.
Rishi Sunak should end tax breaks for private schools and non-doms to pay for breakfast clubs and to invest in our brilliant state schools.
@eavoss I love monster movies. We need more good monster movies. Proper old school adventures. Handsome heroes, beautiful, mysterious women, and terrifying beasts, in exotic and strange locations. What’s not to love?
@agiletortoise Oh we don’t think it’s important that the plebs know how things work. You get taught about this stuff if you go to Eton or study politics at Cambridge.
@agiletortoise Look, it’s simple. We have a monarch who has absolute power over an unwritten but still actually real constitution but if he or she chooses to use that power that same unwritten constitution would implode. And we whip people to vote for things. And Black Rod comes into it too.
@rjstorybreak awesome to hear the story boys back in action. Fingers crossed we can get a few more. Maybe just for special occasions.
Or… what about a rotating set of writers?! Too weird? I dunno. Anyway, congrats to Mr and Mrs Campos.
