🇺🇸✝️ Archbishop Lori celebrated Mass at St. Mary's Church in Annapolis, next to the historic Carroll House, on America's 250th birthday. His message: hope over self-congratulation — "God remains faithful even when things appear broken." 🎥

The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage passed through the Archdiocese of Baltimore — and the faithful showed up in a big way. 🙏✨
Thousands came out to walk alongside Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament as the pilgrimage made its way through our archdiocese. It was a profound witness to our belief in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist — a moment of grace for our entire community.
The Archdiocese of Baltimore, the oldest Catholic diocese in the United States, was honored to be part of this historic national journey. May the fruit of these sacred days deepen our love for the Eucharist and renew our faith for years to come.
God bless all who walked, prayed, and worshipped. 🙏
Archbishop William E. Lori said that when Redemptorist Father Patrick Woods invited him several months ago to celebrate an Independence Day Mass on the grounds of the Carroll House, “I knew this is the place I had to be on the Fourth of July.” https://t.co/zBZkjNz7K0 #AbpLori
🇺🇸🙏 On this Fourth of July, the faithful gathered at @StMaryAnnapolis as Archbishop William E. Lori celebrated Mass in thanksgiving for our nation and in commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary.
As we give thanks for the blessings of liberty, we also entrust our country to God’s providence, praying for wisdom, unity, peace, and a renewed commitment to the common good. May we continue to live our faith with courage and serve our neighbors with charity, always seeking to be instruments of Christ’s love in our communities.
Let us continue to pray for our nation and all those who work to uphold the freedoms we cherish.

Did Catholics help found America? Yes. At the time of the Revolution, Catholics were just ~1% of the colonial population — mostly in Maryland — yet their fight for religious freedom helped shape the new nation. 🔗 https://t.co/E4SQ3HUkpp
