@MillionPodcasts For most of the shows I work with, borrowing audience (or getting in front of a complementary audience) is exactly the tactic that converts.
It has to be the right connection, the right collab, and the right execution on the part of the guest (or promo swap). But it works.
Here's how we get people to say yes to us.
...Or at least, how we get them interested in learning more.
Sending out podcast pitches — whether it's pitching someone as a guest, suggesting a promo or feed swap, or sharing other podcast collab ideas — shouldn't be daunting.
London, we'll see you next week! TPA is co-hosting The London Podcast Meetup alongside Dolby, Great Pods, SoCal Podcast Meetup. First round is on us — but RSVP is required! 🍺🎙️

Big News: we announced today that we're joining forces with Naomi Mellor of @everybody_media as co-presenters of the International Women's Podcast Awards for 2026!
We're PUMPED to make this announcement and to let you know that more details will be rolling out 🔜.
In the first episode, @arithisandthat laments whether podcasters have made their shows findable, and are they making it clear who they are speaking to?
Listen to the whole episode on YouTube or anywhere you get your podcasts.
The list of podcasters abandoning their shows is growing as the market gets more crowded.
We think the pivot to video will also be more likely to discourage creators who are women and minorities to start a show…
