#AFP Yesterday, we tried to get as close as possible of the main bridge of Bakhmut as the city is being constantly shelled. Special forces running the street. North, east and sout part of the city seem like artillery hell on earth. Sound on !

"On some days there are 100 wounded, other days 50 or 60," the surgeon says. "Everything depends on what is going on in Bakhmut."
"It's very difficult for our guys there. I can't imagine how it is there. It is terrifying."

#UkrainianCounteroffensive "We have to go ahead because this is our only chance to get home sooner," says Oleksandr, out of breath after cleaning one of the tanks donated by Poland. "Only through victory. So we're waiting!" #afp#Ukraine
⚡️With Wagner being less than 70 hours away from supposedly “withdrawing” from Bakhmut, I thought it would be cool to see what they’ve done in the past 279 days since the battle began.
Timeline of the historic “Battle of Bakhmut”:

#Bakhmut was allegedly bombed with phosphorus last night according to @SOF_UKR - we can recognise the last bits of Ukrainian-held territory with the few high storeys buildings- phosphorus burns everything, allows to get light too for night ops + creates smoke screen for offensive ops #Ukraine
Heart-warming ❤️
🇫🇷journalist @ArmanSoldin and his team rescued a hedgehog from a trench in 🇺🇦
The team found it barely alive, gave it some water and took it to a safe place. They fed the animal and let it recover for a couple of days before releasing it into the wild🦔
Just been told the bridge between Chassiv Yar and Bakhmut has been blown up.. so these might be the last images we'll get from the other side and of the Bakhmut area in a while...situation was already very complicated... Sound on #afp#ukraine#bakhmut
#Kostiantynivka. Today. Crazy how the most abnormal things become normal during wartime. Life just goes on while shells are falling on people. Sound on #afp#ukraine
A miracle nobody got hurt. We weren't going to a 'particularly dangerous place' but very likely that we had been spotted by a Russian observation drone, despite the weather. The longest 30ish seconds of my life. Full story here https://t.co/Kl2iopSWTD #afp#ukraine#Bakhmut
Being caught under a rain of Grad yesterday with a bunch of trench-diggers is probably one of the worst things that I've experienced since being in #Ukraine, with rockets exploding less than 50 metres away. Pure terror. Sound on #afp#ukraine#bakhmut#Donetsk
