Welcome to … Art Talk with Arno Carstens and Donna McKellar

This is the first in a new series where I visit artists in their studios and we talk about art, their practice and whatever else comes up.

First up is Donna McKellar who lives just down the road from me in Kalk Bay. Donna paints old Karoo buildings in a style she calls romantic realism.

Before that she spent years as a commercial artist doing logos, packaging and advertising, and you can still see her love of lines and perspective in every building she paints.
