Check out our recent publication on how an influenza #rechallenge triggers Brm cell migration and relocation to boost antibody secretion at infected sites! https://t.co/jDl2PijZLa
For this week’s journal club we went rogue and sat in a nice Italian cafe! And guess what? Anti-PD-1 therapy doesn't just target tumors! It also boosts T cell responses in lymph nodes, enhancing the fight against cancer from multiple fronts💪 @JExpMed

The image shows thick sections of lungs of BAT mice reinfected with influenza and depleted for CD4+ T cells, showing the positioning of alveoli-associated plasma cells. By MacLean et al. @ArnonGroup (https://t.co/cZCzUBSa3a).
Our image of a flu-infected mouse lung from our latest publication made it to @JExpMed cover! Take a look at this thread by @lopes_bonifacio if curious about our main findings #residentmemory#flu#Bcells
Our lab most recent publication put forward the hypothesis of a population of resident memory B cells in the lung acting as ‘Guardians of the alveoli’. What does that mean and what is the evidence we have so far? A 🧵1/14 https://t.co/3KjSnPkkJR
Kicking off summer Journal club meetings discussing a recent publication by Becattini lab! “Local antigen encounter promotes generation of tissue-resident memory T cells in the large intestine” @MucosalImmunol

This one is definitely a ‘Phage’ turner! @harrison_oj lab used phage display screening to identify antigen-specific BCRs in mLN and PPs & used tetramer stain to track these cells! A much-needed advance in the field to fish specific B cell clones and study them in depth #Immunity
Online now: Antigen-level resolution of commensal-specific B cell responses can be enabled by phage display screening coupled with B cell tetramers https://t.co/uV2gozmgHe
It was great pleasure to give a talk in such an amazing environment! Thanks @Tal_Arnon_Lab for inviting me and giving me a chance to share our work. And thanks so much to the IT that quickly solved the technical problems!
🥇 Journal club of 2024, 🥇pre-print in feat. Arnon’s Journal club +🥇Journal club of our new post-doc @nelaklim !🥳 fantastic concept on how a transcription factor can modulate B cells ‘recallability’ to antigen https://t.co/9h28FjYzkG
On top of a great presentation by #joannahfergusson on responses to adjuvants in human lymph node cultures, the bonus perk about @KirOxford internal seminars: pizza! 🍕
#tbt to our PhD student Sophia Oram presenting her findings at # in Sardinia! Exciting news about #PLTs in the #Spleen coming out soon! Well done Sophia!
We had a lovely sunny afternoon at the Kennedy Institute Summer Picnic on Friday! ☀️
Thanks to everyone who joined us, and to those who brought their families, children, and some VERY good dogs!
